EA has added microtransactions to Skate during its latest alpha take a look at, and forward of a release date announcement.
As reported by Insider Gaming, developer Full Circle added microtransactions to the continuing closed alpha take a look at of EA's free-to-play Skate revival.

According to Insider Gaming, Full Circle has warned testers that progress can be absolutely reset earlier than Skate launches into early entry, and any purchases you make can be transformed back into San Van Bucks and made out there again at the beginning of early entry.
Skate’s early entry launch is about for 2025. It was introduced during EA Play way back in 2020, however on the time was said as "very early" in growth.
